Welcome to the Beer Passport™
Meet the legends. Visit the places. Collect the stamps.

From lively brewpubs and beer gardens to small-town taprooms and legendary festivals, the Beer Passport™ is your curated guide to South Africa’s most exciting independent beer destinations.
… and now, it’s even better.
The Beer Passport™ + 2026 Map & Challenge
Your Passport, Upgraded.
As great as the printed passport is, it doesn’t update itself. And let’s be honest — it’s easy to leave behind (in the car, at home, or back in Joburg while you’re in the Cape).
That’s why we built something better. The 2026 Map & Challenge lives on your phone and grows with your journey. No app required. No outdated info. Just check in and explore.

Beer Passport™
The all-new Beer Passport™ is more flexible, more personal, and built to work hand-in-hand with your 2026 Map Challenge Access.

Think of it as junk journaling for beer lovers — with room for stamps, stickers, tasting notes, and road trip mementos. It’s a tactile way to capture your adventure, one stop at a time. And with plenty of blank pages, you’ll never run out of space to tell your story.
What We’ve Learned from the Community
- You love the nostalgic ritual of stamping — each one tells a story
- You wanted more freedom and space to make the passport your own
- You didn’t always love the rigid, pre-printed structure
- You asked for flexibility — and now you’ve got it
- Blank pages — fill them with the places you choose
- Add your own stamps, stickers, photos, and tasting notes
No apps. No presentations. Just good beer, great people, and a passport full of character.
It’s going to be a game-changer — Holger Meier
Frequently Asked Questions
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Need to collect your passport in person?
We’re based in Durban but don’t currently have public pickup points. We’ll courier your passport anywhere in South Africa via Pudo, quickly and affordably.
Does the 2024/2025 Beer Passport expire?
Not at all! The 2024/2025 label simply refers to the edition and print year — there’s no expiry date. You’re welcome to use it for as long as it brings you joy 🍻
As for the Free Beer Offers, those are arranged through the generosity of each brewer and are entirely at their discretion. Most breweries have agreed to honour the offer until the end of 2025, but please remember:
“It might be a small taste, a full pour, or only valid with a meal. Accept it with gratitude and be gracious if there’s ever an issue. Circumstances change, and not all offers are guaranteed forever.”
Customer Love ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From Beer Festival to Beer Adventures ❤️🍺
“We got our Beer Passports last year and it’s been the highlight of our quality time together! Thanks to this little orange book, we’ve discovered places and towns we never would’ve thought to visit. We even stopped flying to the coast—because we don’t want to miss out on the breweries and beer pit stops along the way!”
– Yolandi, who met her husband at a beer fest back in 2016 💫
Big cheers to couples who travel for beer and make memories that matter.
